This week's tip:
Advice From A Fellow Professional
Sir Laurence Olivier is recognized as one of the greatest actors of our century. His advice to an actor on method is: "You have to have the humility to prepare and the self-confidence to carry it off."
This advice can serve professional salespeople well. Be prepared for your sales calls. Set specific objectives. Learn as much as you can about your prospect before making a call. Review the information you've already gathered before making a call on an established customer. Have a written plan for each sales call you make. Write down important questions to ask and the information you want to share.
Have the humility to prepare. You'll find that preparation will play a major role in giving you the self-confidence you need to "carry it off."

Does your company have an official "sales call planning sheet?" If not, refer to the "Sales Plan" form in the Job Aid section of your Track Selling System workbook.
You'll find that completing a "Sales Plan" will help to make your presentation more efficient.
Each day this week spend an extra ten minutes developing a sales plan for each call you make.
"Have the humility to prepare and the self-confidence to carry it off."
