This week's tip:
Habit
The professional salesperson forms the habit of doing the things necessary for success... even thought they may be things he/she dislikes doing.
Think of the tasks you dislike doing. Prospecting, filling out expense reports, dealing with disgruntled clients? Are these tasks essential for your professional success? If so, then it's necessary to form the habit of doing the tasks we dislike. How do you form a habit? By doing it. By doing it over and over and over again, until it becomes second nature.
Many times the difference between success and failure is that the successful person will do the things necessary to succeed, even though he/she may dislike doing them. Form the right habits. We guarantee it will pay off for you.

What task(s) are you currently postponing because you dread doing them? _______________________
Ask yourself, "Why do I dislike doing these tasks?" Now ask yourself, "Why is it important for me to accomplish these tasks?"
Sometimes, when we have a greater appreciation for the benefits we derive from performing unpleasant tasks, we are more willing to complete them. Do something each day this week that you have been postponing.
