Rick Cobb
Vice President
Rick Cobb is Vice President, Senior Instructor, and Salesman with Max Sacks International, the firm which has been helping American and International corporations build individual sales performance and improve bottom-line profits since 1958.
After a successful career as an executive in the grocery business, Rick made the transition to selling life insurance in 1967. Within his first year, he achieved the distinction of finishing in the top five percent of money earners across the country. He attributes this accomplishment to the selling techniques he learned in working with Roy Chitwood - techniques which later evolved into the comprehensive Track Selling System now presented by Max Sacks International.
When Roy Chitwood moved to Max Sacks International in 1976, Rick joined him as a full-time associate. Rick teaches all of the courses, and specializes in the presentation of customized programs for corporations. He has personally presented training programs to the sales organizations and top executives of such major firms as Hewlett-Packard, Tyson, Nextel, Sysco, Candle Corporation and many others.
"I find," Rick explains, "that the challenges facing professional salespeople today are quite similar from industry to industry. Whatever your field, you need to realize the world is constantly changing. If you're still selling the way you were five years ago. . . you're probably not selling as effectively as you could be."
Before each program, Rick makes the necessary investment of time to research and study a company, learn its unique selling environment and goals, and tailor the training accordingly. He is a respected, affable, and effective communicator and trainer.
